Welcome to the world of the beautiful game of soccer at RA Steen Community Centre!
Through RA Steen Community Centre families can access a number of different soccer programs for children and youth ages 4-18. We strive to offer a range of soccer programs that can meet a diversity of needs. From introductory fun-and-play based mini soccer for our youngest four year olds to competitive, focused team play for teens, we can help connect your family to the soccer program that is right for your child’s age, interest, and developmental abilities.
The soccer programs offered directly by RA Steen Community Centre are primarily aimed at the recreational player. RA Steen Community Centre, however, is a member of the St. Charles Soccer Association (SCSA), and through SCSA youth can access more competitive levels of play through the St. Charles Force Developmental and Premier programs.
For more information on programs, registration, or to get involved as a volunteer coach contact RA Steen Community Centre directly or the mini or youth soccer conveners (See Contacts below).
RA Steen Community Centre’s mini and youth soccer programs strive to adhere to the “Canada Soccer Pathway”. The Canada Soccer Pathway provides a roadmap for players of all ages and aspirations who want to play soccer at the recreation, competitive or high performance EXCEL levels, with the aim of encouraging lifelong participation.
