The City of Winnipeg and GCWCC are currently working on recommendations and protocols to guide the re-opening of community centres in Winnipeg. We continue to be closed until this has been communicated and we are able to comply. The re-opening committee met to discuss plans for a soft-startre-opening schedule with new policies to help keep everyone safe.We are all excited to see everyone at the centre again. We will keep you up-dated as plans are formed.
Although some restrictions regarding the current COVID-19 situations appear to be slowly lifting, the current outlook for our youth sports is still under review. There are many levels, both political and organizational that need to agree before we can progress at the community centre level. The majority of our outdoor facilities and fields are bound by city permits and therefore must wait for the city and province.
